5.3.2 Thebaseframe(VersionsUNDER)
The units with downward air ow require an adequate support system, as they are usually installed in rooms with a raised
oor. For this purpose, the base frame with adjustable feet is available, if required can also be supplied with an air conveyor.
Fig. 7 The base frame
The unit must be fastened to the frame with M8 screws with an appropriate length, using the pre-set holes and threaded
inserts.
It is advisable to install a thin draught-excluding gasket (not supplied) between the contact surfaces to avoid air leakage.
5.3.3 Separate fan section
the fan section must be installed rst, under the oor or on the oor depending on the type of assembly planned; afterwards,
the unit must be installed on top of the fan unit.
The two sections must be connected with M8 screws with an appropriate length, using the pre-set holes and threaded in-
serts on the unit’s base and on the top ring of the fan unit.
If not all of the fastening points are accessible due to the position of installation, simply fasten the unit to the fan section at
4 of the 6 points provided.
It is advisable to install a thin draught-excluding gasket (not supplied) between the contact surfaces to avoid air leakage.
The electrical connections between the two sections are made by means of quick screw connectors; the male and female
parts of each connector must be tightened to a torque of 5 Nm. Refer to the wiring diagram to make the connections.
After tightening the connectors, secure the cables and said connectors with clamps or another mechanical system in order
to prevent them from moving or interfering with the moving parts.
5.3.4 Positioning the air condenser
To position the remote condenser see the appropriate manual.
