6. Dealing with obstacles
• Large trees, poles, ower beds etc. are an obstacle for the lawnmower and
must be separated from the mowing area by the boundary wire.
• If certain owers are not to be mown, use the boundary wire to protect
them.
• Lay the boundary wire around trees and tree roots that may obstruct the
lawnmower.
• Make sure that the boundary wire is xed directly to the ground. If the
boundary wire is loose or has rolled up, the perimeter wire may be severed
by the lawnmower and the charging station signal may no longer be
received by the lawnmower. The boundary wire signal can be received by
the lawnmower in a 20 m radius.
