approved level:

Have the defect corrected as

soon as possible by a special-

ist service facility, preferably an

authorized BMW Motorrad re-

tailer.

Checking coolant level

Make sure ground is level and

firm and park motorcycle.

Danger of burns on hot en-

gine.

Maintain distance from hot en-

gine.

Do not touch hot engine.

Check the coolant level by

viewing through the recess in

the GS emblem on the reser-

voir 1.
