2.3.2 The exhaust pipe should be no smaller than the exhaust outlet and as short as possible. Pump
exhaust will contain a small amount of oil and should be handled in a manner consistent w ith
applicable regulations. If exhausted outside of the building point the end of the exhaust pipe
dow nw ard to prevent the entrance of rain water.
2.3.3 Closed circuit Oil M ist Separators are available from Stokes w hich can eliminate oil fog in the
majority of applications. The separator will not remove noxious or toxic gases and must be run
to a suitable trap. Consult Stokes Vacuum for specifications.

2.4.1 Install a motor starter with safety device within easy reach of the operator.
2.4.2 Connect the solenoid valve as in Figure 5 & 5A.
2.4.3 Connect motor so that pump shaft rotates clockw ise when view ed from drive end.
