5. Transport, Storage, Scope of Delivery
The machine is delivered fully assembled. The scope of delivery includes the assembled machine, carriages for filter bags,
initial equipment including filter bags and Sediflock 310 sedimentation granules (flocculant), connecting pipes and tube and
the instruction manual.
Check the delivery for completeness and damage. Transport damage are to be reported directly, without delay and
in writing to the carrier (forwarder, train, etc.).
No special provisions are required for storage or temporary storage of the Sedimentor.
Risk of damage
The Sedimentor is supplied on a pallet. This pallet can be unloaded from the truck with a forklift (minimum load capacity
1.000 kg) equipped with long forks. For ground level transport two lift trucks must be used.
6. Setting up the Machine
Set-up and installation of the machine must be carried out by qualified personnel only.
Risk of damage through tipping over of the load. Observe the applicable UVV regulations.
After removing all transport straps, slowly unload the sedimentor from the pallet, e.g. by means of an overhead crane.
The machine must be set up on a level floor. The floor must be stable enough to bear the weight of the machine plus the
corresponding filling quantity of water. Minimum floor load capacity 600 kg/m².
Please allow sufficient distance from walls/ceilings and enough space in the entry and exit areas of the filter
carriage.
