The BOLT LITE system is powered by the BOLT Operating System and BOLT Application, allowing users to find, scan, pay, and charge their EVs through a connected marketplace. The primary function of the BOLT LITE is to provide accessible, easy, and affordable EV charging, aiming to build a robust EV charging infrastructure and a smart OS for safe and connected electric vehicles.

Set-Up Guide:
Power Source Requirements:
- Requires a single-phase connection with earthing.
- Locate the nearest power source to minimize cable laying.
- Ensure the power source has a spare load of at least 3.3 kW.
- Identify a suitable wall for mounting the device once the power source is confirmed.
Mounting:
- Remove the device from its packaging.
- Verify that all materials listed are present in the box.
- Position the device against the wall and mark the screw points for drilling.
- Mount and secure the device firmly using the provided screws.
Connection:
- Identify the three wires coming out of the BOLT device: red, black, and green/yellow (colors may vary).
- Red represents the phase, black is for neutral, and green/yellow is for earthing.
- Connect these wires to the corresponding power source cables.
- Properly insulate all connections to ensure safety.
Steps to Follow for Operation:
- Physical Installation: Place the device against the wall and mark screw points for drilling. Mount and secure the device firmly with screws.
- App Integration: Download the BOLT App from the Play Store or App Store.
- Charger Setup in App: Navigate to HOMEPAGE -> ACCOUNTS -> MY CHARGER -> Add "NEW".
- Configuration: Follow the on-screen instructions, enter charging point details, and click "SAVE CHARGER".
- Mode Selection: Choose between "PUBLIC" and "PRIVATE" charging modes.
- Public Mode (if selected): Fix the provided QR Code next to the device for users to SCAN, PAY & CHARGE.
Adherence to safety instructions is crucial to prevent fire or electric shock.
- Grounding: Ensure all electrical equipment is well-grounded to prevent electric shock.
- Cable Usage: Use the correct cable size to avoid overheating, corrosion, and breakdown. Do not use worn, damaged, or non-insulated cables.
- Connections: All electrical connections must be clean, dry, insulated, and tightly secured.
- Environment: Moisture and water conduct electricity. Keep work areas and equipment dry. If the device gets wet, use the charging point carefully.
- Handling: Always plug and unplug power cords slowly and safely.
- Child Safety: Keep the charging point out of reach of children without adult supervision.
- Socket Protection: Keep the socket flip closed when the device is not in use to prevent foreign elements from entering and damaging the device.
Maintenance Features (Warranty Terms):
The BOLT LITE comes with a warranty, subject to specific terms and conditions.
Warranty Coverage:
- The device is considered defective if it fails to perform all functions as indicated in user videos, technical specifications, or other shared documents, and the failure is due to internal characteristics.
- The warranty period is 1 year from the date of delivery.
Conditions that Void Warranty:
- If the internal PCB is tampered with or removed.
- Damage to the device or any part(s) due to transportation, shifting, or improper storage at the customer's premises.
- Mechanical or electrical damages resulting from incorrect installation, configuration, usage, or activities inconsistent with the operation manual or contradictory to technical specifications.
- Major physical damages: Claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery; claims after this period are not eligible.
- Illegible, removed, erased, defaced, altered, or tampered product serial number or warranty seal.
- Missing accessory or external part of the product.
- Natural wear & tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse, or negligence), or damage caused by rain, fire, or earthquakes.
- Damage to the outer surface, including cracks, dents, or scratches on exterior cases, screens, and other attachments.
- If the device becomes dirty or damaged due to contact with chemical agents, water, sharp objects, improper handling, accident, abuse, or abnormal use/conditions (e.g., rain, wind).
- General maintenance, cleaning, application update/installation, product demonstration, or any service other than repair/replacement.
- Deterioration caused by normal wearing and tearing, including rust or stains.
- Any other circumstances contradictory to business ethics.
Customer Responsibilities:
- Provide a reasonable, sufficient, and safe working space to access the device for charging.
- Move away all blocking objects or move the appliance to an appropriate location with gas/water supply and drainage for testing, if required.
