DISPOSING OF A UV LAMP
Contact your local waste disposal authority to get
instructions about recycling and proper disposal of
the old lamp.
Do not throw your used lamp in the house-
hold waste. Objects containing mercury
must be disposed of in accordance with the
applicable laws and regulations of your
place of residence.
If the UV lamp breaks, switch o the appli-
ance. Do not operate the appliance with a
broken lamp. Do not use a vacuum cleaner to re-
move broken pieces. Sweep the debris into a plastic
bag and dispose of it properly.
