Function Description:
The electric kettle is primarily used for boiling water and can also function as a tea maker with its integrated tea basket. It offers precise temperature control and a keep-warm function, making it suitable for various hot beverage preparations. The boil-dry protection automatically switches off the kettle if it operates without water, preventing damage to the heating elements.

Usage Features:
- Initial Use: Before first use, it is recommended to clean the kettle by boiling a full kettle of water twice and discarding the water.
- Filling Water: Remove the kettle from the power base and open the lid. Fill with water between the 0.5L and 1.7L marks for boiling, or between 0.5L and 1.2L for tea brewing. Do not overfill to prevent water from spilling out of the spout when boiling. Ensure the lid is firmly in place.
- Power Connection: Position the kettle on the power base and connect the plug to a power outlet. The display will turn on, all buttons and indicator lights will illuminate, and the appliance will beep once, indicating a successful connection.
- Heating Water:
- Boiling to 100°C: Press the ON/OFF button without setting other functions. The kettle will turn on, beep, and the display will flash. It will boil water up to 100°C and then automatically switch off with a long beep.
- Heating to a Specific Temperature: Press the adjust temperature buttons to select a desired temperature between 40°C and 100°C (in 10°C increments). The set temperature cannot be lower than the real-time water temperature. The kettle will switch off with a long beep once the desired temperature is reached.
- Keep Warm Function:
- To activate, press the adjust temperature buttons to set the desired temperature (40°C to 90°C), then press the ON/OFF button to boil water. After boiling, press the keep warm button. The keep warm button sign will flash, indicating that the mode is active.
- The kettle will maintain the set temperature for 60 minutes.
- To switch off the keep-warm function, press the keep-warm button again or the ON/OFF button.
- Pouring Water: Lift the kettle from the power base and pour the water carefully to avoid scalding. Do not open the lid while the water is hot.
- Optimum Temperatures for Beverages:
- 40-60°C: Blends for babies
- 70-80°C: Green and white tea
- 90°C: Instant coffee
- 100°C: Black tea
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning. Never immerse the kettle or cord in water.
- Removing Mineral Deposits:
- Liquid Descaler: Use a non-toxic liquid descaler.
- Vinegar Method: Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with water. Let it stand overnight (do not boil). Empty the solution, remove any remaining stains with a damp cloth, then fill with clean water, bring to a boil, and discard. Repeat this process until the kettle is clean.
- Cleaning the Housing: Wipe the exterior with a mild, damp cloth or cleaner. Do not use poisonous cleaners.
- Cleaning the Filter: The filter can be detached by pulling it out for easier cleaning with a mild, damp cloth at regular intervals.
- Caution: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden, or abrasive cleaners on the outside of the kettle.
- Storage: When not in use, the power cord can be wound around the cord storage under the bottom of the kettle.
