SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Read the manual before using this power tool. Failure to follow the warnings and instrucons may result in electric shock, re and/
or serious injury. Aer reading the manual, store it in a safe place for future reference.

at an ambient temperature of more
than 45°C. Protect the power tool and
the baery from direct sunlight.

Do not throw the baery

The guaranteed sound
emission level is 96 dB (A).
Never allow children, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or persons unfamiliar with these instrucons to use the machine.
Do not allow children to play with the machine. Children should not be allowed to clean or maintain this device.
The power tool must be kept out of reach of children.
Store the instrucon manual in a locaon accessible to all users of the power tool and always include the instrucon manual when passing it on to other
users.
Instruct inexperienced persons on the safe use of this power tool.
Keep in mind that the operator is responsible for harm caused to other people or their property.
Stop the machine immediately if you are approached.
Before operang the machine, make sure to wear protecve footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the machine when barefoot or wearing open
sandals. Avoid wearing loose ng clothes, jewellery and es.
Never operate the machine while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
Always inspect the tool before use, and in case the machine is dropped or hits a hard object, check for sign of wear or damage and repair as necessary,
especially the parts of the cung head.
Check the tool regularly for loose fasteners, damaged parts, such as cracks in the cung aachment.
Ensure that the air vents are unobstructed.
Keep the power cord and extension cords away from cung parts.
Wear eye protecon, protecve clothing and protecve & non-slip shoes at all mes while operang the machine.
Avoid using the machine under rainy condions.
Use the machine only in daylight or if the working area is suciently lit by an arcial light.
Switch on the power tool only when the hands and feet are away from the cung parts.
Always turn o the power tool, remove the baery and wait unl the blade has come to a complete stop:
1) Whenever the machine is le unaended.
2) Before clearing a blockage on the cung parts.
3) Before checking, cleaning or working on the machine.
4) Aer the power tool has hit a hard object.
5) Whenever the machine starts vibrang abnormally.
Ensure that your feet and hands are at a safe distance from the cung parts.
Always ensure that the venlaon openings are kept clear of debris.
Do not run while operang the machine.
If the machine breaks down, stop the machine. It must be repaired by the manufacturer or their service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
Never operate the machine if you are red, ill or under the inuence of alcohol or drugs.
Keep the cung head below waist level. Always cut from le to right so that debris is thrown away from you.
The operator must take a break and change working posion aer working for a long period of me.
Never replace the non-metallic cung part with one that made of metal.
Warning: Only touch the moving parts if the machine has been turned o and the moving parts of the power tool have come to a complete stop.
Warning: There is always a risk of kickback when working with electric brush cuers if the cung head comes into contact with a hard object. Kickback will
cause the sudden stalling of the cung head, which in turn results in the cung head being forced in the opposite direcon to the rotaon of the cung
blade. Ensure that you retain a rm grip on the handle with both hands at all mes, pay aenon to the working area to ensure that the cung blade will
not come into contact with hard objects and maintain a rm stance to avoid injury due to kickback.
