ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before operaon
• Insert the baery (4) into the designated spot below the handle (1) unl it clicks into place.
• To remove the baery, press the baery unlocking latch (A) and slide the baery out of the handle.
Inserng/removing the baery (Fig. A)
• Remove the baery (see secon "Inserng / removing the baery").
• Connect the power adapter (14) to the charging port (B) of the baery.
• Connect the plug of the charger to a suitable socket.
- During the charging process, the red charging indicator glows.
- Aer about 60 - 90 minutes, the red indicator light goes out.
- The green indicator light glows connuously when the charging is completed.
Note: The charger will become warm and may make slight buzzing sounds while charging. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.
• Disconnect the charger's plug from the socket once the baery is fully charged.
Charging the baery (Fig. B)
Warning: Do not use the product in potenally explosive atmospheres. Use the product only in ambient temperatures between 10 - 40°C.
Turn o the machine before carrying out any maintenance or repair work or mounng or replacing accessories.
Cauon: The baery is slightly charged when it leaves the factory. Charge the baery fully before using it for the rst me.
The baery heats up while charging. Always allow the baery to cool down to room temperature before you charge the baery.
Checking the baery level (Fig. C)
• To check the charging status, the baery level indicator lights up when you press the control buon (C).
• The baery level is shown by 3 LEDs.
- 3 LEDs start glowing: Baery is charged.
- 2 LEDs start glowing: Baery is parally charged.
- 1 LED starts glowing: Baery needs to be charged.
Mounng the safety guard (Fig. D)
• Mount the safety guard (9) on the product unl it clicks into place and screw it on to the side using the screw provided on the safety guard.
