ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before operaon
Insert the baery (4) into the designated spot below the handle (1) unl it clicks into place.
To remove the baery, press the baery unlocking latch (A) and slide the baery out of the handle.
Inserng/removing the baery (Fig. A)
Remove the baery (see secon "Inserng / removing the baery").
Connect the power adapter (14) to the charging port (B) of the baery.
Connect the plug of the charger to a suitable socket.
- During the charging process, the red charging indicator glows.
- Aer about 60 - 90 minutes, the red indicator light goes out.
- The green indicator light glows connuously when the charging is completed.
Note: The charger will become warm and may make slight buzzing sounds while charging. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.
Disconnect the charger's plug from the socket once the baery is fully charged.
Charging the baery (Fig. B)
Warning: Do not use the product in potenally explosive atmospheres. Use the product only in ambient temperatures between 10 - 40°C.
Turn o the machine before carrying out any maintenance or repair work or mounng or replacing accessories.
Cauon: The baery is slightly charged when it leaves the factory. Charge the baery fully before using it for the rst me.
The baery heats up while charging. Always allow the baery to cool down to room temperature before you charge the baery.
Checking the baery level (Fig. C)
To check the charging status, the baery level indicator lights up when you press the control buon (C).
The baery level is shown by 3 LEDs.
- 3 LEDs start glowing: Baery is charged.
- 2 LEDs start glowing: Baery is parally charged.
- 1 LED starts glowing: Baery needs to be charged.
Mounng the safety guard (Fig. D)
Mount the safety guard (9) on the product unl it clicks into place and screw it on to the side using the screw provided on the safety guard.
