Safety instrucons for the baery pack
Do not dismantle, open, smash or burn the baery pack.
Do not short-circuit the baery pack. Do not store the baery pack inappropriately in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-
circuited by conducve materials. When baery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects, that can make a connecon from one terminal to another. Shorng the baery terminals together may cause burns or a re.
Do not expose the baery pack to sources of heat or re.
Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
Do not subject the baery pack to mechanical shock.
In the event of baery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the aected area with
copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
Seek medical advice immediately if a baery pack has been swallowed.
Keep the baery pack clean and dry.
Wipe the baery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
The baery pack needs to be charged before use.
Use the correct charging procedure.
Aer extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the baery pack several mes to obtain maximum performance.
The battery pack performs optimally when it is operated at normal room temperature (20°C ± 5°C).
Recharge only with the specied charger. Do not use any charger other than the one that is provided.
Do not use any baery pack which is not designed for use with the equipment.
Keep the baery pack out of the reach of children.
Remove the baery from the equipment when not in use.
Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the baery and ensure correct use.
Make sure the baery is removed prior to changing accessories and before maintenance or repair work.
Keep the baery away from microwaves and high pressure.
Safety instrucons for the baery charger
Before charging, read the instrucons.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the charger.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not charge baeries that are damaged in any way.
Do not use the charger outdoors when it's raining.
Protect the charger from moisture.
Do not short out the contacts of baery or charger.
Respect the polarity “+/-“ when charging.
Do not open the unit and keep out of the reach of children.
Do not charge the baeries of other manufacturers or any incompable baeries.
Ensure that the connecon between the baery charger and baery is correctly posioned and is not obstructed by foreign bodies.
Keep the charger clean and store in a dry and frost-free place.
When charging baeries, ensure that the baery charger is in a well-venlated area and away from ammable materials. Baeries can get hot during
charging. Do not overcharge any baeries. Ensure that the charger is supervised while it is charging baeries.
Do not recharge non-rechargeable baeries, as they can overheat and break.
Use the charger in areas where the air temperature is between 18°C and 24°C in order to prolong its life and ensure optimal performance. Do not charge
the battery pack in air temperatures below 0°C, or above 45°C as this can cause serious damage to the battery pack.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Even when operang the machine as intended and in accordance with the instrucons that this manual contains, the following residual risks sll remain:
Health issues resulng from prolonged exposure to the power tool’s vibraons. An example of such a health issue includes ‘‘whitenger’’ disease. In order to
reduce the risk of developing ‘‘whitenger’’ disease, please wear gloves, keep your hands warm and take frequent breaks. If any of ‘‘whitenger’’ symptoms
appear, seek medical advice immediately. ‘‘Whitenger’’ symptoms include: numbness, loss of feeling, ngling, pricking, pain, loss of strength, changes in
