Assembly

Inserting/Replacing the Batteries

Use AA alkaline batteries. Ensure correct polarity. Monitor battery status via indicator b. Replace batteries in pairs.

Mounting the Leg Extension

Slide the leg extension 17 onto the fold-out leg 1 from the front, securing it over the joint.

Operation

Initial Operation & Precautions

Protect from moisture, sun, and extreme temperatures. Allow acclimatization. Follow initial setup guidelines.

Switching On/Off and Battery Saver

Use button 12 to turn on/off. Auto-shutdown after 30 min. Last value is saved when 'H' indicator appears.

Aligning and Rotating Display

Use spirit levels 8/9 for alignment. Use button 13 to rotate display for better readability.

Measuring and Transferring Angles

Place legs on surfaces to measure. Lock position with knob 3. Use legs as a straight edge to transfer angles.

Saving Measured Values

Press 'HOLD' button 11 to save current value. 'a' indicator flashes. Stored value is overwritten by new value.

Simple Miter Operating Mode

Compound Miter Operating Mode

Storing the Spring Angle (SPR)

Open legs to desired spring angle. Measure or set angle. Angles > 90° are converted. Use 'HOLD' to recall saved angle.

Storing the Corner Angle (CNR)

Place legs flat against walls to measure or set corner angle. Used for fitting workpieces into corners.

Calculating Miter and Bevel Angles (MTR/BVL)

Press button 15 to calculate and display 'MTR' (miter) and 'BVL' (bevel) angles for compound cuts.
