Take safety measures when dusts can be pro-
duced during working that are detrimental to
one’s health, inflammable or explosive. Example:
Some dusts are regarded as carcinogenic. Use suita-
ble dust/chip extraction and wear a dust respirator.
Keep your workplace clean. Blends of materials are
particularly dangerous. Dust from light alloys can burn
or explode.
