This function allows large volumes of water to be
heated up even more quickly than with power setting9.
This function is available for all cooking zones,
provided the other cooking zone in the same group is
not in use.
12.1 Switching on PowerBoost
1.
Select the cooking zone.
2.
Select and hold in the settings area until
and light up.
3.
Without lifting your finger off, touch the ⁠symbol.
4.
Lift your finger.
a The function is switched on.
Note:You can also switch on this function when cook-
ing with a connected FlexZone.
12.2 Switching off PowerBoost

Select the cooking zone.
2.
Set a different power level in the settings area.
a The function is switched off.
Note:In certain circumstances, the function is automat-
ically switched off to protect the electronic components
inside the PCB.
PanBoost
13 PanBoost
You can use this function to heat up pans more quickly
than with power level 9.
This function is available for all cooking zones,
provided the other cooking zone in the same group is
not in use.
13.1 Recommended applications
¡ Do not place a lid on the pan.
¡ Never leave pans unattended when they are heating
up.
¡ Only use cold pans.
¡ Use pans with a completely flat base. Do not use
pans with a thin base.
13.2 Switching on PanBoost

Select the cooking zone.
2.
Select and hold in the settings area until
and light up.
3.
Without lifting your finger off, touch the ⁠symbol.

Lift your finger.

Note:To avoid high temperatures, this function auto-
matically switches itself off after 30 seconds.
Keep-warm function

You can use this function to melt chocolate or butter,
and to keep meals warm.
14.1 Switching on Keep-warm function

Select the cooking zone.

Touch in the settings area.
