If the temperature monitoring in your Bosch Timer responds, several factors could be the cause. First, a contaminated heat sink might be the issue, so try cleaning it. Also, make sure that the ambient temperature isn't too high by ensuring proper cooling in the installation area. Check that the rating of the power unit isn't too low by calculating the duty cycle and verifying the selection based on the load diagram. If using cooling water, verify its flow and temperature aren't too low or too warm, respectively. Lastly, for air-cooled units, check the forced ventilation to ensure it's working correctly.
