If your Bose Docking Station isn't producing sound, try these steps: 1. Increase the system volume. 2. Ensure the SoundDock battery is charged or the system is plugged in, your iPod is on, and a music track is playing. 3. Remove and reseat your iPod in the dock, waiting 5 seconds between attempts; repeat a few times. 4. With another sound device, ensure your iPod is removed and the second device is properly connected, turned on, and set to play. 5. If the other sound device is connected and playing, press any button on the remote to activate the system. 6. Unplug the SoundDock, remove the battery, reattach it, and plug the system back in.

If your Bose SoundDock Portable isn't producing sound and your iPod isn't charging, try the following: * Ensure your iPod is firmly seated in the dock and that the SoundDock is either charged or properly plugged in. * Remove your iPod from the dock, wait 5 seconds, and then re-dock it. * Note that some iPod models with buttons but without a click-wheel might not recharge while playing, so ensure it is adequately charged. * If using the power supply, verify the power outlet is working correctly. * Unplug the SoundDock, remove the battery, reattach it, and plug the system back in.
