Panel Descriptions

AC Adaptor Jack

Accepts connection of an AC Adaptor (PSA series; optional) for power supply.

CHECK Indicator

Indicates effect status (on/off) and serves as a battery check indicator.

OUTPUT Jacks A (MONO)/B

Connect to an amplifier or effects unit for monaural or stereo output.

INPUT Jack

Accepts instrument signals and functions as the unit's power switch.

EXP Jack

Connects an expression pedal to control pitch shifting amount.

Pedal Switch

Pressing this switch toggles the effect on or off.

Thumbscrew

Loosens to allow the pedal to open for battery replacement.

[MODE] Knob

Selects operating modes: HARMONY, PITCH SHIFTER, DETUNE, S-BEND.

[KEY] Knob ([FALL TIME] Knob)

Sets the performance key for HARMONY mode; controls fall time in S-BEND.

[SHIFT] Knob

Sets harmony pitch in HARMONY mode; sets pitch shift amount in other modes.

[BALANCE] Knob (RISE TIME Knob)

Adjusts direct/effect sound balance; controls rise time in S-BEND.

Description of Each Mode

HARMONY

Adds effect-processed sound to create three-voice harmonies. Use for single notes only.

PITCH SHIFTER

Outputs sound pitch-shifted up or down by up to two octaves. Works with notes and chords.

DETUNE

Adds slightly shifted sound to the input. Usable for single notes and chords.

S-BEND (Super Bend)

Provides pitch up/down effect via pedal, impossible with tremolo bar.
