The BougeRV car refrigerator is a portable cooling and freezing device designed for various scenarios such as car, truck, RV, camper, van, Jeep, SUV, boat, and home use. Its primary function is to keep food and beverages cool or frozen, offering convenience for outdoor activities, travel, and everyday use.
Usage Features:
The refrigerator boasts several advanced features for optimal performance and user convenience:
- High-Efficiency Cooling: It is equipped with a high-efficiency DC compressor and conversion module, ensuring rapid cooling down to -20°C / -4°F, even in ambient temperatures of 25°C / 77°F.
- CFC-Free and Excellent Insulation: The device uses CFC-free refrigerants and features great heat insulation, contributing to environmental friendliness and energy efficiency.
- Dual Compartments with Individual Temperature Control: A key feature is its dual compartment design, allowing users to set different temperatures for each compartment. This means you can simultaneously refrigerate items in one section and freeze items in another, catering to diverse storage needs. The temperature settings are managed via an LCD digital display.
- Temperature Setting and Mode Switching: Users can easily adjust the temperature for both the left and right compartments using the '+' and '-' buttons. The device also offers MAX (fast cooling) and ECO (energy-saving) modes, allowing users to prioritize speed or efficiency based on their needs. The factory setting defaults to MAX mode.
- Temperature Unit Switch: The temperature unit can be switched between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) through a specific setting sequence, with °F as the factory default.

- Cleaning: Before first use and for regular cleaning, the inside and outside of the refrigerator should be wiped with a damp cloth and allowed to dry. It is crucial to unplug the device before cleaning to avoid electric shock. The cover can be removed, and the drain hole at the bottom can be used to drain water. The device should not be soaked in water or washed directly, and abrasive cleaning agents should be avoided to prevent damage.
- Storage: For long-term storage, the device should be turned off, unplugged, and emptied of all contents. The cover should be removed, and any excess water wiped off. Leaving the lid slightly open helps prevent odors from forming. The refrigerator should be stored in a cool and dry place.
- Defrosting: Humidity can lead to frost formation inside the cooling device or on the evaporator, which can impair cooling performance. Regular defrosting is recommended. To defrost, switch off the device, remove its contents, keep the lid open, remove the cover, drain water from the hole, and wipe off the defrosted water. It is explicitly warned not to use hard or sharp tools to remove ice or loosen frozen objects.
