11. Maintenance 11.
Attention: Warranty claims will only be accepted if maintenance has been performed
properly! Follow safety regulations! All recommendations concerning
maintenance are minimum requirements and refer to a one-shift operation!
11.1. Operation and Maintenance Summary
11.1
When starting operation: Weekly:
 Execute multi-maintenance program P49  Turn on steam supply
 Turn on room ventilation system (alternative execute the individually
programs P46, P54, P48 und P45.
 Turn on cooling water supply
 Turn on compressed air supply
 Clean the sprayer dirt strainers and spray
nozzles
 Open condensate valve
 Turn on machine main switch
 Check the function of the disposal vessel
overfill sensor
 Start deodorizing program P43, press
"STOP" button when program ends and
signal sounds
 Drain the safety water separator when
pumping out to the still is being performed.
 Unbalance switch: Visual inspection for damage.
Check the central position of the feeler in the
Bore.
When stopping operation: Monthly:
 Turn off machine main switch  Execute multi-maintenance program P50
 Turn off steam supply
 Close condensate valve
 Check pH level (7 – 9 indicates good
solvent condition)
 Turn off cooling water supply  Check solvent levels in the tanks
 Turn off compressed air supply to
compressor
 Clean strainers in water and steam
feeders
 Lubricate cage bearing  Turn off room ventilation system or
switch to night operation
Semi-annually:
Inspection and maintenance work:
 Check, clean air cooler
Daily:(before starting the first cycle)
 Clean tanks
 Check machine for leaks  Retighten screwed unions
 Check solvent safety trough for solvent  Check V-belt tension, re-tension
 If necessary, add neutralization agent to
still
 Replace carbon in venting and aeration filters
(carbon bag)
 Clean button trap strainer and lint filter
(see 11.5.1)
Annually:
 Check safety separator, if necessary,
dispose of process water in accordance
with the regulations that apply in your
country!
 Machine inspection (BGR 500 Kapitel 2.14)
 Check the liquid level of the cleaning
agent container
 Remove filter discs and clean in the
machine (program P6)
 Check sacrificial anodes, replace if
necessary
 Machine is ready for operation
 Check Slimsorba activated carbon
 Clean the Slimsorba air filter (suction off)  Check, clean back wall of cage
Daily: (after the last cycle)
Attention:
 Close the loading door and maintenance
openings again immediately
 Execute distillation maintenance program P45
Execute distillation maintenance program P45
 (Alternatively start with 15 E during the last
charge)
 Use only lithium-based lubricating
greases, such as:
 Drain water from compressed air armature
- ALVANIA 3 (SHELL) - MARSON L2 (FINA)
- BEACON 2 (ESSO) - LGMT 3 (SKF)
