Tester underpressure of the blower BREEZE
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Discharge can be measured on the heater in any prescribed inbuilt position.
2. It is necessary to remove the exhaust pipe distribution of heating and air intake silencer from the
heater. In the case that the exhaust pipe cannot be removed, the vacuum level is of 1% less (at
the length of the exhaust pipe 1 m).
3. Mark the position of the baffle for combustion air before measurement and then open it fully
(vertical position, see picture). It is necessary to turn the baffle at its original position after the
measurement
4. Measurement is taken in ventilation mode and maximum speed (speed 4920 min
-1
). Time to
stabilize the pressure value is 10 minutes.
5. Connect the test pipe piece provided with a branch for scanning static pressure, to the combustion
air intake socket. Test pipe piece have to be in direction of heater’s axes (see picture). Disconnect
the hose (length shall be 1m) to the pressure gauge just close before reading the values and
calibrate the gauge by pressing its right button. Then connect the hose again and read the value
after about. 30 s.
6. The underpressure in the test pipe should be 600 – 780 [Pa].
7. Alone subassembly must be clamped horizontally in a vise. The measuring tube must be along
the axis of the heater (see Fig.). Measured values at 5000 RPM should be 650 to 790 Pa.
8. The tester must be calibrated 1x per year at an authorized laboratory or directly in BRANO a.s
