  A significant drop in shaving performance of your Braun Electric Shaver can be due to several reasons: worn foil and cutter, a changed personal setting, or a clogged shaving system. To resolve this, renew the Foil & Cutter cassette. For a thorough and fast shave we recommend the green (intensive) setting. Also, soak the Foil & Cutter cassette into hot water with a drop of dish liquid, rinse it properly, tap it out, and apply a drop of light machine oil on the foil once dry.

  If cleaning doesn't initiate when you press the start button, ensure the shaver is correctly placed in the Clean&Renew station so that the contacts align. Also, verify that the cleaning cartridge has enough cleaning fluid (replace it if the display lights red). Finally, ensure the appliance is not in stand-by mode by pressing the start button again.

  If your Braun Electric Shaver turns off even with a fully charged battery, it's likely due to worn foil and cutter parts requiring more power than the motor can provide. Replacing the Foil & Cutter cassette should resolve this. Also, regularly oil the shaving system, especially after cleaning it with water only.
