Why are battery segments skipped in the display of my Braun 7760cc Electric Shaver?
    • C
      Christopher RoseSep 18, 2025
Skipped battery segments on your Braun Electric Shaver's display, while the battery capacity decreases, often indicate that the foil and cutter are worn, requiring more power for each shave. To fix this, renew the Foil & Cutter cassette and regularly oil the shaving system, especially when cleaning with water only.

Why does my Braun 7760cc Electric Shaver turn off with a fully charged battery?
    • U
      ugriffinAug 25, 2025
If your Braun Electric Shaver turns off even with a fully charged battery, it's likely due to worn foil and cutter parts requiring more power than the motor can provide. Replacing the Foil & Cutter cassette should resolve this. Also, regularly oil the shaving system, especially after cleaning it with water only.

What to do if cleaning doesn't start when pressing the start button on my Braun 7760cc?
    • W
      Willie PooleAug 26, 2025
If cleaning doesn't initiate when you press the start button, ensure the shaver is correctly placed in the Clean&Renew station so that the contacts align. Also, verify that the cleaning cartridge has enough cleaning fluid (replace it if the display lights red). Finally, ensure the appliance is not in stand-by mode by pressing the start button again.

Why has my Braun Electric Shaver's shaving performance dropped significantly?
    • C
      Christopher FletcherAug 27, 2025
A significant drop in shaving performance of your Braun Electric Shaver can be due to several reasons: worn foil and cutter, a changed personal setting, or a clogged shaving system. To resolve this, renew the Foil & Cutter cassette. For a thorough and fast shave we recommend the green (intensive) setting. Also, soak the Foil & Cutter cassette into hot water with a drop of dish liquid, rinse it properly, tap it out, and apply a drop of light machine oil on the foil once dry.

Why does my Braun 7760cc Electric Shaver have an unpleasant smell from the shaver head?
    • J
      James BakerSep 22, 2025
An unpleasant smell from your Braun Electric Shaver head can occur if it's cleaned with water improperly or if the cleaning cartridge has been in use for too long. When cleaning the shaver head with water, use only hot water and, occasionally, some liquid soap (without abrasive substances). Remove the Foil & Cutter cassette to let it dry. Also, change the cleaning cartridge at least every 8 weeks.

What to do if shaving system is still wet after cleaning Program has been completed in Braun 7760cc?
    • D
      Darren GambleSep 1, 2025
If the shaving system of your Braun Electric Shaver remains wet after the cleaning program, it could be due to a clogged drain in the Clean&Renew station or an old cleaning cartridge. Try cleaning the drain with a wooden toothpick and regularly wipe the tub clean. If that doesn't work, the ethanol proportion has decreased while the oil proportion has increased in the cleaning cartridge. Remove residue with a cloth.
