Confirm the appliance is not in standby mode; press the start button again.

  If the shaver head of your Braun Electric Shaver is damp, consider these possibilities: 1. Insufficient drying time after automatic cleaning. 2. A clogged drain in the Clean&Renew station. 3. Extended use of the cleaning cartridge. Clean the shaver directly after shaving to allow ample drying time. Clean the drain with a wooden toothpick and regularly wipe the tub clean. If the cleaning cartridge has been used for a while, the ethanol/isopropanol proportion has decreased while the oil proportion has increased; remove residue with a cloth.
