How to unlock my Braun Electric Shaver?
If your Braun Electric Shaver does not start when you press the on/off button, unplug the shaver and press the on/off button for 3 seconds to unlock it.
Why is my Braun Electric Shaver cleaning not starting?
If your Braun Electric Shaver's cleaning doesn't start when you press the start button, ensure the shaver is correctly placed in the Clean & Charge Station, pushing it to the rear so the contacts align. Check if the cleaning cartridge has sufficient fluid; if the display blinks red, insert a new cartridge and press the start button again. Also, verify the appliance isn't in stand-by mode by pressing the start button again.
Why does my Braun 8391cc have an unpleasant smell?
An unpleasant smell from your Braun Electric Shaver head may occur if you clean it with water. When cleaning the shaver head with water, use only hot water and occasionally some liquid soap (without abrasive substances). Remove the Foil & Cutter cassette and let it dry. Also, if the cleaning cartridge has been in use for more than 8 weeks, replace it.
