What to do if juice leaks from my Breville BJE410 between the rim and the cover?
If juice leaks between the rim of the juicer and the juicer cover, try using a slower juicing speed. Push the food pusher down the feed chute more slowly.
Why does my Breville BJE410 Juicer motor stall when juicing?
The motor may stall due to a few reasons. Wet pulp might build up under the juicer cover if the juicing action is too vigorous. Try a slower juicing action by pushing the food pusher down more slowly. Also, clean the filter bowl surround, the stainless steel filter basket, and the juicer cover. The Juice Fountain ™ Plus will automatically stop if the motor stalls for more than 10 seconds because too much food is being processed at once, or the pieces are too large. Try trimming the food into smaller, even pieces and processing less per batch. To continue, reset the Juice Fountain ™ Plus by switching it ‘Off’ then ‘On’ again. If you are using hard fruits and vegetables on a low speed, this can also strain the motor. Refer to the juicing guide to select the correct speed.
What to do if pulp is too wet and juice extraction is reduced in my Breville BJE410?
If you notice the pulp is too wet and you're getting less juice, try juicing at a slower pace. Also, remove the stainless steel filter basket and thoroughly clean the mesh walls with a cleaning brush. Rinse the filter basket under hot water. If the fine mesh holes are blocked, soak the basket in a solution of hot water with 10% lemon juice or wash in the dishwasher to remove excess fiber build-up.
What to do if my Breville BJE410 Juicer is overheating?
The juicer includes a safety feature to prevent overheating from excessive loads. If overheating occurs, the overload protection will activate, and the unit will switch off automatically. If this happens, unplug the juicer from the power outlet and let it cool down for at least 15 minutes. After cooling, plug the juicer back in and use it as normal.
Why does juice spray out from the spout of my Breville Juicer?
If juice sprays out from the spout, it means the juice is being extracted too quickly. Try using a slower juicing speed and push the food pusher down the feed chute more slowly.
