What to do if my Breville BJE820 Juicer won't work when switched 'ON'?
    • M
      michelle26Aug 14, 2025
If your Breville juicer doesn't turn on, it might be because the safety locking arm isn't correctly engaged. Make sure the locking arm is located into the two grooves on either side of the juice cover. Also, check the Overload Protection Button on the bottom of the Motor Base to see if it has been activated. Also, allow more time for the motor to cool down.

Why is juice leaking from my Breville Juicer?
    • T
      Tina CookAug 17, 2025
Juice may leak from your Breville Juicer due to a fast juicing action. Try pushing the food pusher down more slowly. Also, fruits and vegetables with high water content, like tomatoes and watermelon, should be juiced on low speed.

Why does my Breville Juicer suddenly switch off during juicing?
    • E
      Eric MitchellAug 21, 2025
The Breville juicer may switch off if it's been overloaded or stalled. To fix this, switch off the unit at the power outlet, unplug it, and then press the Overload Protection Button located on the bottom of the Motor Base. This will reset the safety device, and your juicer should be ready to use again.

Why is the red light flashing on my Breville Juicer?
    • G
      Gregory CombsAug 25, 2025
A flashing red light on your Breville Juicer indicates that the motor may have overheated due to excessive load. To resolve this, unplug the juicer from the power outlet and allow it to cool down for at least 15 minutes. After cooling, plug the juicer back in and use as normal. Alternatively, the juicer will automatically stop operating if the motor is stalled. In this case, try trimming the food, cutting it into smaller pieces, and processing smaller batches. To continue juicing, unplug the juicer, reset it by pressing the Start/Stop button to 'Off', clear the feed chute, and then turn the appliance back on.

What to do if my Breville Juicer motor appears to stall when juicing?
    • R
      Randy OdonnellAug 27, 2025
If the motor of your Breville Juicer stalls, it could be due to several reasons. Wet pulp might be building up under the cover because the juicing action is too vigorous. Try juicing more slowly. Also, clean the filter bowl surround, the juice disc, and the juicer cover. Try speed 5 instead of speed 1. The juicer will automatically stop operating if the motor is stalled. Try trimming food into smaller pieces or processing smaller amounts per batch. Reset the juicer by pressing the Start/Stop button to 'Off', clear the feed chute, and turn the appliance back on. Hard fruits and vegetables can strain the motor if a low speed is selected. Refer to the juicing guide to determine the correct speed.

What to do if excess pulp builds up on the Stainless Steel Filter Disc of my Breville BJE820?
    • B
      Brian PotterSep 3, 2025
If excess pulp builds up on the Stainless Steel Filter Disc of your Breville Juicer, stop the juicing process. Remove the juicer cover and scrape off the pulp from the Stainless Steel Filter Disc. Re-assemble the juicer and begin juicing again. Try alternating between soft and hard vegetable and fruit varieties.

What to do if the Filter Bowl Surround becomes full and clogs the spout on my Breville BJE820 Juicer?
    • A
      Allen JohnsonSep 6, 2025
If the Filter Bowl Surround becomes full and clogs the spout on your Breville Juicer when using the Puree Extractor, try using fruits with more water content to help flush through the contents. Also, try a slower juicing action by feeding one piece in at a time and pushing the food pusher down more slowly.

    Melissa VasquezSep 10, 2025
Why is the pulp too wet and is there reduced extracted juice from my Breville Juicer?
    • E
      Erica SandersSep 10, 2025
If the pulp is too wet and there's reduced juice extraction from your Breville Juicer, try a slower juicing action. Remove the Juice Disc and thoroughly clean the mesh walls with a fine brush. Rinse the Juice Disc under hot water. If the mesh holes are blocked, soak the Juice Disc in a solution of hot water with 10% lemon juice to unblock the holes or wash in the dishwasher to remove excess fiber build-up.
