    • C
      colleenhendricksAug 13, 2025
A grinding noise in your Breville Coffee Maker could be caused by the frothing disc not being inserted correctly. Ensure the frothing disc is securely and correctly attached. If the frothing disc has dislodged during operation, reinsert the frothing disc correctly before recommencing. Removing the milk jug during operation can also dislodge the frothing disc.

Unplug the cord from the power outlet, remove liquid from milk jug, rinse the milk jug and frothing disc with cold water then dry thoroughly. Why is my Breville BMF600XL Issue - E11 making a humming noise?
    • R
      Ronald GriffithSep 4, 2025
The humming noise in your Breville Coffee Maker is normal. It is the cooling fan preventing the milk frother from overheating. During this time, you may still use the milk frother unless the Boil Dry Overheat Protection has been activated (3 beeps will be heard). Follow the instructions for the 3 beeps.

Why are ingredients not melting in my Breville Coffee Maker?
    • G
      Gregory SnyderSep 8, 2025
If ingredients are not melting in your Breville Coffee Maker, it may be because they have been added before the milk has warmed up. Always allow the milk frother to start for a few seconds before using the measuring cap to gradually add ingredients. Also, ensure ingredients are in small pieces.
