Maintenance Features:
- Filter Replacement Indicator: The filter reset light blinks continuously when the filter needs to be replaced. To reset, press and hold the Microbe Shield™/Night Mode/Filter Reset button for 5 seconds.
- Filter Replacement Process: Involves turning the unit upside down, removing the locking knob and base plate, replacing the used filter with a new one, and then reassembling.
- Cleaning:
- External Surfaces: Clean with a clean, dry cloth at least once a month.
- Pre-filter: Clean with a vacuum cleaner (hand-tool attachment) at least once a month, or more often if required.
- Air Quality Sensor: Located behind a grill at the rear of the unit. Gently vacuum the sensor grill and metal shield using a small hand brush tool. If more dust is visible, remove the cover carefully to clean.
- UV-C Light Replacement: The UV-C light is not user-serviceable and must be replaced by an authorized Breville service center.
- General Safety: Always turn off, unplug, and allow the unit to cool before cleaning or performing any maintenance. Do not immerse any part of the air purifier in water. Do not use harsh cleaners, solvents, or sharp objects.
