CLEANING CYCLE
• CLEAN ME! will be displayed on
the LCD to indicate when a cleaning cycle is
required (approx. 200 shots). The cleaning
cycle cleans the shower screen and back-
flushes the group head.
• Insert the supplied grey silicone
cleaning disc, followed by 1 cleaning
tablet into the filter basket.
• Lock the portafilter into the group head.
• Ensure the water tank is filled with cold
water and the drip tray is empty.
• Press the MENU button and rotate
SELECT dial until 'CLEAN CYCLE' and
'PUSH' are displayed on the LCD.

• Press the SELECT dial to start the
cleaning cycle.
• The LCD will display a countdown timer
showing remaining time for the cleaning
cycle in seconds.
• When the cleaning cycle has finished,
remove the portafilter and ensure the tablet
has completely dissolved. If the tablet has
not dissolved, repeat these steps, without
inserting a new tablet.
• Rinse the filter basket and portafilter
thoroughly before use.
• Extract an espresso to "season" the
machine and purge the system of any
remaining cleaner.
