Why is no coffee pouring from my Breville VCF125 Coffee Maker?
    • M
      Matthew FrenchAug 15, 2025
If no coffee pours from your Breville Coffee Maker, first, fill the water reservoir and run water through the machine without a filter basket to prime it. If the group head is blocked, see the Descaling Section. If the dual wall filter baskets are blocked, use the cleaning pin to unblock them. If the coffee grounds are too fine or tamped too hard, empty the filter basket, rinse, and refill with coarser grinds, then tamp.

How to get enough froth from Breville Coffee Maker?
    • T
      Tim DavisAug 18, 2025
If you're not getting enough froth when texturing milk with your Breville Coffee Maker, ensure the milk is fresh and around 4°C. For best results, use a chilled stainless steel milk jug. If the milk has been boiled, start again with fresh, chilled milk, heating it to 60-65°C. Ensure the steam wand tip is positioned just below the surface of the milk to create micro-foam. Tap the jug to release trapped air bubbles. Keep the steam wand tip just under the surface to introduce air.

    • B
      Brittany SimpsonAug 26, 2025
If the coffee from your Breville Coffee Maker pours out in drips, try changing to a coarser grind if the grinds are too fine. If the coffee is tamped too hard, tamp the grinds more lightly. If the machine has scale build up, see the Descaling Section.

Why does the group handle come off my Breville VCF125 Coffee Maker during espresso pour?
    • D
      Dawn DiazAug 28, 2025
If the group handle of your Breville Coffee Maker comes off during espresso pour, espresso squirts out, or trickles down the side, ensure it's correctly attached and tightened. If the coffee grind is too fine, switch to a coarser grind. If the coffee grinds are tamped too hard, tamp more lightly. Also, clean the top edge of the filter and wipe the group head. A dirty group head should be wiped with a damp cloth, and the seal cleaned with a brush. If the rubber seal is damaged, contact Breville Customer Care.

How to fix espresso with no crema from Breville VCF125 Coffee Maker?
    • R
      Robin YangSep 1, 2025
If your Breville Coffee Maker espresso lacks crema, use fresh beans or grinds, storing pre-ground grinds in an airtight container. Tamp the grinds more firmly if they are not compacted enough. If the grinds are too coarse, use a finer grind.
