Loading And Unloading The Trailer
Bri-Mar 94
Figure 5-4 – Lock Ramps With Pins
• Close and fasten doors.
Unloading:
• Park the tow vehicle and trailer on a firm and level surface, both
front-to-back and side-to-side. Attempting to unload on a soft or
uneven surface may cause the trailer to overturn, which can result in
death or serious injury.
• Place blocking under the rear of the trailer so the weight of the cargo
does not raise the front of the trailer during unloading.
• Open and secure rear doors with pins. See figure 5-1.
• Remove ramps from storage position and place bracket (2) on ramps,
in channel on trailer. See figure 5-3.
• Remove tie downs from equipment.
• Unload the equipment. The operator must be experienced and
skilled to perform the unloading.
• Remove ramps and place in storage position. Be carefully not to
pinch fingers when sliding ramps in.
• Place ramp lock pins (1) as shown on each ramp to lock ramps in
storage position. See figure 5-4.
