      If your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer pump isn't producing pressure, has erratic pressure, chatters, loses pressure, or has low water volume, consider the following: * If a low-pressure spray tip is installed, replace it with a high-pressure spray tip. * If the water inlet is blocked, clear it. * Ensure an adequate water supply. * If the inlet hose is kinked or leaking, straighten it or patch the leak. * Check and clean the inlet hose screen if it's clogged. * Ensure the water supply is not over 100°F (38º C); use a cooler water supply. * Clear any blockages in the high-pressure hose or replace if leaking. * Replace the spray gun if it leaks. * Clean the spray tip if it's obstructed.
