  Your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer engine might not start due to several reasons: * The oil level might be low, so fill the crankcase to the proper level. * The air cleaner could be dirty; clean or replace it. * The fuel tank might be empty; fill it with fuel. * The fuel could be stale; drain the tank and fill it with fresh fuel. * The spark plug wire may not be connected; connect it to the spark plug. * The spark plug might be bad; replace it. * There might be water in the fuel; drain the tank and fill it with fresh fuel.

  If your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer pump isn't producing pressure, has erratic pressure, chatters, loses pressure, or has low water volume, consider the following: * If a low-pressure spray tip is installed, replace it with a high-pressure spray tip. * If the water inlet is blocked, clear it. * Ensure an adequate water supply. * If the inlet hose is kinked or leaking, straighten it or patch the leak. * Check and clean the inlet hose screen if it's clogged. * Ensure the water supply is not over 100°F (38º C); use a cooler water supply. * Clear any blockages in the high-pressure hose or replace if leaking. * Replace the spray gun if it leaks. * Clean the spray tip if it's obstructed.

  If detergent fails to mix with the spray in your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer, check the following: * Ensure the detergent siphoning tube is submerged in the detergent. * Clean or replace the detergent siphoning tube if it's clogged or cracked. * Replace the high-pressure spray tip with a low-pressure spray tip. * Free the detergent siphoning check ball if it's stuck.
