If the auger on your Briggs & Stratton Snow Blower continues to run for more than 5 seconds after releasing the right control lever, the issue could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that if your snow blower is equipped with Free Hand control, it is not active; release both the auger control and the Free Hand control. If that doesn't solve the problem, the auger drive belt or the auger belt guide might be out of adjustment, and you should consult an authorized dealer.
