Bluetooth Set Up - Preferred
Open the General Settings on
your handheld device. Make
sure Bluetooth is turned on.
5. On the Select Device to Add screen, tap
Smart Socket.

tap Next.

1. Download Brilliance Smart from the Apple
App Store or Google Play by scanning
the QR code.
Register for an
account if you
are a first time
user.
2. In your phone’s settings, make sure
Bluetooth is turned on.
3. Open the Brilliance Smart app and tap the +
button in the upper-right corner.
4. When the device pairs via Bluetooth, the
Devices to be Added box is displayed. Tap
the Go to Add button.

Download Brilliance Smart App

Download the Brilliance Smart app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Enable Bluetooth on Handheld Device

Ensure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone's general settings for pairing.

Initiate Device Pairing via App

Open the app, tap '+', and select the Smart Socket when it appears as discoverable.

Confirm Device Addition

The app connects to the Smart Socket; rename the device and tap Done to finalize setup.

Quick Mode Set Up

Download and Open Brilliance Smart App

Download the Brilliance Smart app and open it on your device.

Select Smart Socket for Manual Add

Access 'Add Manually' and select the Smart Socket from the list.

Initiate Quick Mode Pairing

Reset the device via toggle switch until its light indicator blinks rapidly.

Enter Wi-Fi Credentials and Confirm

Input your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network name and password, then tap Confirm.

Finalize Device Connection

The app connects to the Smart Socket; rename the device and tap Done to finish.

AP Mode Set Up

Download and Open Brilliance Smart App

Download the Brilliance Smart app and open it on your device.

Select Smart Socket for Manual Add

Access 'Add Manually' and select the Smart Socket from the list.

Switch to AP Mode Pairing

Select AP Mode on the Reset screen and reset the device until its light blinks slowly.

Connect to SmartLife Hotspot

Enter Wi-Fi details, then connect phone to the 'SmartLife' network.

Finalize Device Connection

Re-open the Brilliance Smart app to complete connection and device programming.
