      Spencer ScottAug 6, 2025
If you're experiencing no water flow from your Bristan Bathroom Fixture, here's what you can check: * Ensure the water isolating valve is turned on. * Inspect and clean the filter if it's blocked by turning off the water supply first, then removing and cleaning the filter. * Check the outlet hose mesh filter for blockages; remove the outlet hose from the shower and clean the mesh filter. * Make sure the power supply to the unit is switched on.

Why is my Bristan Bathroom Fixture shower running hot and cold?
    • S
      Steve MccormickAug 10, 2025
If your Bristan Bathroom Fixture shower runs hot and cold, it might be due to the water pressure being at the minimum requirement. Check the running pressure (it should be a minimum of 0.7bar), and wait until the pressure increases.

What to do if my Bristan Bathroom Fixture water temperature is too hot?
    • D
      david90Aug 14, 2025
If the water temperature from your Bristan Bathroom Fixture is too hot, it could be due to insufficient water flowing through the shower. Try cleaning the handset. Increase the water flow by turning the temperature control knob to a cooler setting and reduce the power setting.

Why does my Bristan Bathroom Fixture shower temperature cycle between hot and cold?
    • M
      matthew67Aug 18, 2025
The shower temperature may cycle between hot and cold because the shower temperature is set too high. This can cause the thermal cut out to turn off the heating elements to reduce the water temperature. To resolve this, turn the shower temperature control anti-clockwise to lower the water temperature.

What to do if ‘LOW PRESSURE’ appears on my Bristan Bathroom Fixture?
    • K
      Kathleen GreerAug 23, 2025
If ‘LOW PRESSURE’ is displayed on your Bristan Bathroom Fixture, it indicates a low-pressure water supply to the shower unit or low water flow through the shower handset. Turn off the unit and wait until the water pressure increases before using it again. You can also try increasing the water flow rate by turning the temperature control to a cooler setting.

Overview

The Bristan Bliss Electric Shower is a contemporary electric shower designed for domestic use, offering a range of features for a comfortable and safe showering experience. It is available in various models including BL385 W, BL385 B, BL395 W, BL395 B, BL3105 W, and BL3105 B, indicating different power ratings and color options (White and Black). The shower unit is designed and tested in the UK to comply with relevant British Standards, I.E.E Wiring Regulations (BS7671), and Building Regulations (Part P and Part G).

Function Description

The Bristan Bliss Electric Shower heats cold mains water on demand, providing a continuous flow of hot water for showering. It features a digital display for temperature indication and touch buttons for power control and start/stop functions. The unit incorporates a Temperature Control Device (TCD) to prevent scalding by switching off heating elements if the water gets too hot, and a Pressure Relief Device (PRD) to protect against excessive pressure build-up. The shower also includes a phased shut-down feature to reduce limescale build-up by continuing water flow as the heater cools.
