[I] PRESSER FOOT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen sc rew 0 . open the face plate 0 . and ra1se the presser bar l1 fter lever O.
(Remove the face plate on model 88 35 ·8836 .)
Refer to the table below for the requ 1r ed presser foot he 1ght.
2. The presser foot 9 bottom should be 7 mm from the needle plate top. Loosen screw 0 . and vertiCally adjust the presser
bar
0 to adjust the he1ght.

tigh ten screw 0 after adjustment IS comple t ed )
• Be careful not to turn presser bar 0
• Use a presser foot w1th no front gap to prevent Sti tch sk1pp1ng or thread cast -o ff at the start of sew1ng when work1ng
with thm and standard matenals
