Turn ON the power of the printer and perform the operation
while the printer is in Standby mode.
If there is new firmware, update the printer.
CAUTION
Be sure to wear a pair of plastic gloves and protective
glasses while refilling the ink.
IMPORTANT
Agitate the white ink before refilling.
For details, refer to the Instruction Manual.
TIPS
When agitating the white ink, remove the IC
stick from the refill ink bottle to prevent the IC
stick from falling off.
1) -> [Ink refill] -> Select the ink color and cleaning
solution you want to refill ->
2) Insert the IC stick of the same color as the ink to refill ->
TIPS
An error appears if you insert an IC stick of a
different color.
3) Refill the ink and cleaning solution.
IMPORTANT
When refilling, exercise care not to fill past the
graduation line above 6. Refill white ink and
cleaning solution past the graduation line under
6, and color ink past the graduation line under 4.
4) Follow the instructions on the screen.
IMPORTANT
Be sure to close the tank lids once you have
refilled the ink and cleaning solution.
To store the ink valve after use, wipe off the ink
with a waste cloth and seal it in a plastic bag. Do
not use a non-standard funnel. Use the provided
valve. Otherwise, ink may be contaminated or
deteriorated, possibly damaging the printer.
