  If your Brother All in One Printer doesn't detect a new ink cartridge, it might be due to a few reasons. First, you may have installed the cartridge too quickly. Remove the new ink cartridge and re-install it slowly and firmly until the cartridge lever lifts. Also, ensure that the ink cartridge is installed correctly. If you're using non-Brother Original ink, the machine might not detect it. In this case, replace the cartridge with a Brother Original ink cartridge. If the error persists, no other solution is available.
