Selecting a stitch
Using the stitch selection keys, select the desired
stitch.
When the sewing machine is turned on, the straight
stitch ( left needle position) is selected.

Turn on the sewing machine.

Confirm that the utility stitch indicator is lit. If
it is not lit, press the utility stitch key.

Press the “+” or “–” side of to increase or
reduce the number

The mark “ “ appears on the LCD when a
stitch that is programmed with the automatic
reinforcement stitching setting is selected.

● When the stitch length or stitch width is
changed from the auto setting, the
around the or disappears from the
LCD. When the stitch length or stitch width
is reset back to the auto setting, the
reappears around or on the LCD.
● If the stitch width of the selected stitch
cannot be adjusted, “--” appears to the right
of the on the LCD.
