B. THE HELMET
7. FACE SHIELD
Changing the face shield is easy to do without tools. To replace the visor,
it is helpful to place the helmet on a flat surface on soft cloth or on your lap
while seated.
REMOVING THE FACE SHIELD
1. Make a quarter turn to the peak screw.
• Clockwise to unlock right side
• Counterclockwise to unlock left
side
2. Pull perpendicularly on the side of the
peak as shown.
3. Repeat steps 1 - 2 for the other side.
4. Move the face shield into the
uppermost locked position.
5. On one side, pull the lever of the face
shield mechanism downward to
release the lower tab of the face shield.
6. Move the lower portion of the face
shield pivots upwards until the lower tab
is released from the face shield
mechanism.
7. Then, pull the face shield downward
to release the upper tab from the face
shield mechanism.
8. Repeat steps 5 – 7 for the other side.
