B. THE HELMET
INSTALLING THE SUN VISOR
1. Make sure the sun visor mechanism is
in low position. (Sun visor lever up)
2. Insert the sun visor between helmet
inner and outer shell and fit it on to the
locating pegs on both sides.
Then, press firmly towards the inside of
the helmet until the fork’s inner insert is
completely inserted.
3. Check that the sun visor mechanism
is functioning correctly.
9. FACE SHIELD MECHANISM
REMOVING / REPLACING THE FACE SHIELD MECHANISM
1. Remove the face shield as described
in the “7. FACE SHIELD” section of this
manual.
2. Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to
remove the two screws.
3. Grab the sun visor mechanism and
lift it gently.
4. Position the sun visor mechanism
and put back the two screws. Tighten
them to 0.4 Nm.
5. Repeat steps 2 – 4 for the other side.
6. Put back the face shield as described in the “7. FACE SHIELD”
section of this manual.
