7.3.7 Pressure-field Response
The microphone’s pressure-field correction curve is shown in Fig.7.12. This correc-
tion is added to the microphone’s actuator response obtained using Electrostatic
Actuator UA0033 in order to determine the pressure-field response. The typical
pressure-field response is shown in Fig.7.13.
In practice, the pressure-field response is often regarded as being equal to the
actuator response as the difference between them is small compared to the uncer-
tainty related to many types of measurement.
