What to do if Bryant Thermostat air conditioning repeatedly tries to turn on with 4 wires?

If your Bryant Thermostat-connected air conditioning equipment attempts to turn on repeatedly but fails when using 4 wires (R, G, W, Y), it may be due to insufficient power for "power sharing". To resolve this, connect a 270 ohm, 10 watt power resistor at the furnace as illustrated.
