3.7 Summer mode on/off
In the Summer mode the heating is turned off but the power to the
appliance and control system are maintained and the DHW mode is on.
Summer mode switch:
▶ Press the / button repeatedly until the display shows the
symbol flashing.

▶ Press the ok button to save the setting.
The tick symbol is displayed briefly to confirm the setting.

3.8 Setting frost protection
Heating system frost protection:
▶ Set the maximum flow temperature to 30 °C ( Section 3.4.2).
-or- turn the appliance off:
▶ Drain the heating system down.

Cylinder frost protection:
Even when the DHW mode is switched off the cylinder is protected
against frost damage.
▶ Set the DHW mode to off( Section 3.5.1).
4 SYSTEM OPERATING PRESSURE
4.1 Check the water pressure (System boiler only)
The normal operating pressure is between 1 and 2 bar.
If the pressure needs to be constantly re-pressurized or the pressure is
constantly over the 2.5bar mark, called your installer or service
engineer.

4.2 System pressure
The method of charging the system may vary depending upon the
installation. Your installer must show you where your charging link is
located, how to re-pressurize your system and the advise you of the
normal system pressure.
Maximum pressure of 3 bar, at the highest hot water temperature,
must not be exceeded (The Pressure Relief Valve discharges to protect
the system).
NOTICE: Risk of freezing. In summer mode only the frost
protection devices are active..

NOTICE: Appliance/System damage.
▶ Only refill a cold system, never refill when the system
is hot.
