Problem Possible Causes Solutions
The unit is connected to
incorrect power socket.
The unit is not plugged in
or the power socket is not
switched on.
The filter has worn out but
has not been replaced, so
the filter protection
function is activated and
the unit stops working.
The unit is not switched
on.
The fan speed is at the
Low (I) setting.
The air inlet or outlet is
blocked.
There is not enough free
space around the unit to
ensure ventilation.
Check the power voltage.
Check whether the unit is
plugged in and fits tightly
with the socket. Check
that the power socket is
switched on.
Check whether the filter is
replaced. (See chapter
“Replacing the filters”)
Check whether the unit is
switched on.
Check whether the fan
speed is set at the Low (I) /
Sleep ( ) mode.
Check whether the
blockage is removed.
Check whether there is at
least 20 cm/8 in of free
space around the unit, and
whether there is at least 30
cm/12 in of free space
above the unit.
The unit does
not work.
Insufficient air
flow
