Why is my BUSCH Water Pump running too hot?

Your BUSCH Water Pump may be running too hot due to several reasons. First, check for insufficient cooling by removing any dust and dirt from the machine. Also, make sure that the ambient temperature is not too high and is within the permitted range. Partially clogged internal filters (IIF, IDF) or a partially clogged inlet filter (if equipped) can also cause overheating. Replace the filter cartridge in such cases.

What to do if my BUSCH Water Pump does not reach the usual pressure?

      Zachary BensonAug 20, 2025
If your BUSCH Water Pump isn't reaching its usual pressure, several factors could be responsible. Start by replacing the filter cartridge if the internal filters (IIF, IDF) or the inlet filter cartridge (if optional) are partially clogged. If one of the regulating valves (VRV, PRV) is jammed, contact Busch to dismantle, clean, check and reassemble the regulating valve. Check also for stuck vanes; free or replace them if necessary. Also, replace the vanes if they are worn. Finally, if you have the SV version, dismantle the discharge valve and change the felt washer if it's partially clogged.
