Service and Maintenance
Depending on usage you will need to periodically clean the lters.
Refer to the instructions in the following sections.
Caution
The dust container and lters must be tted before the
vacuum cleaner is used, to avoid damaging the motor.
Dust Container Filter Replacement
The dust container lter should be cleaned regular and
replaced every 6 months or when required.
1. Follow the instructions on page 14 and empty the dust
container.
2. Hand-wash the container in cool soapy water.
3. Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove all particles
and soap.
4. Allow to dry naturally.
NOTE:
Do not machine wash the dust container and do not
attempt to dry using any kind of heated appliance.
5. Ret the container when dry.
Pre-motor Filter Replacement
The pre-motor lter should be cleaned regularly and replaced
every six to nine months depending on usage.
1. Remove the dust container as
descrided on page 14.
2. Remove the lter element, take
outside and shake vigorously to
clean.
