(a) Brake System Warning Indicator
These indicators come on in the
following cases when the IG-ON”
mode is enabled.
When the brake uid level is low.
When parking the car and the parking
brake is applied.
When ABS system failure.
CAUTION
It is dangerous to continue driving
when the brake uid level is low and
brake system is at fault.
Have your vehicle checked at BYD
authorized dealer in the following
cases:
The indicators do not come on even if
the parking brake is applied when the
“IG-ON” mode is enabled.
The indicator are always on even after
the parking brake is released when
the “IG-ON” mode is enabled.
The parking brake system indicator
remains on together with the “ABS”
indicator.
(b) Seat Belt Reminder Indicator
This indicator reminds you to buckle up
the driver’s seat belt.
Once the “IG-ON” mode is enabled,
the reminder indicator flashes if the
driver’s seat belt is not fastened.
Unless the driver fastens the belt, the
indicator keeps on ashing.
(c) Auxiliary Battery Charging System
Indicator
This indicator warns that there is a
problem somewhere in the auxiliary
battery charging system.
If it comes on while you are driving,
please contact BYD authorized dealer.
(d) Low Oil Pressure Indicator
This indicator warns that engine oil
pressure is too low.
If it keeps on while you are driving,
stop immediately and contact BYD
authorized dealer..
When the engine is started, this
indicator might flash occasionally
or come on of short duration after
emergency braking. It is normal that
this indicator goes out when speeding
up gradually.
The indicator comes on when the oil
level is extremely low. The indicatior is
not designed to indicate the oil level,
which must be checked by the dipstick.
