Indicator Troubleshooting
Smart key warning light
Check whether the key is inside the vehicle or the battery is
low.
ABS fault warning light
When the parking brake fault warning light turns on, pull over
immediately. It is recommended to contact a BYD authorized
dealer or service provider for inspection as soon as possible.
Tire pressure fault warning light
When the light is steady on or ashes, it is recommended
to contact a BYD authorized dealer or service provider for
inspection as soon as possible.
ESC fault warning light
When the light is steady on, it is recommended to contact a
BYD authorized dealer or service provider for inspection as
soon as possible.
The ESC system is functioning properly when this indicator
ashes.
ESC OFF warning light*
If this light turns on when the driver makes a sharp turn or
avoids an obstacle that appears suddenly, the driver must stay
alert and keep driving at a lower speed.
Driving power limit warning light
This light turns on when the motor power is limited.
High-voltage battery low SOC warning light
When this light is steady on, charge the vehicle promptly.
Parking system fault warning light
Possible causes: Low brake uid level, braking system failure.
Pull over immediately. It is recommended to contact a BYD
authorized dealer or service provider.
Seat belt reminder
Driver and passengers buckle up.
