Turn
on
the
power
and
mount
test
disk

on
the
table
load.
Set
the
unit
to
the
STOP
mode.

Short
test

test

(TP5)
of
connector
CN7
and
test
pin
GND,
and
connect
a
DC
voltmeter
and
oscilloscope
to
test
pin
TE
(TP4)
of
connector
CN7
through
the
low-pass
filter
shown
below.

Press
the F.F
button.
The
TRACK/INDEX
indication
is
“2”
and
the
disk
begins
to
rotate.
Continue
to
press
the
PLAY/PAUSE
button.
The
unit
is
rotating
in
this
state
with
the
tracking
servo
turned
off.
5.
Adjust
P101
so
that
the
DC
voltmeter
and
oscilloscope
is
OV+15mV.
CONFIRMING
JITTER
This
procedure
can
be
omitted
in
the
case
that
no
jitter
counter
is
equipped.
1.
AS
same
in
the
adjustment
of
the
pickup
angle,
play
the
fourth
tune
of
the
YEDS4.
2.
Connecting
the
jitter
counter
to
the
test
point
EFM
(TP20)
of
connector
CN9,
make
sure
that
the
value
of
3T
is
less
than
25nSec.
3. In
the
case
of
25nSec
or
more,
adjust
again
the
Pick-up
Angle
and
adjust
P102.

TURNTABLE
HEIGHT
This
adjustment
must
be
made
when
the
motor
is
replaced.
1.
Attach
the
turntable
so
that
its
top
surface
is
23.0mm
from
the
top
of
the
chassis.

Connect
test
pin
F-COIL
(TP10)
of
connector
CN6
to
a
DC
voltmeter
and
oscilloscope
through
the
low-pass
filter.

Turn
on
the
power
and
playback
the
first
selection
on
test
disk
YEDS4.
4.
Readjust
the
height
of
the
turntable
if
the
reading
on
the
DC
voltmeter
is
not
in
the
range
of
OV+0.25V.(Increase
the
height
of
the
turntable
when
the
voltmeter
reading
is
positive,
and
decrease
it
when
negative.)
NOTE:
Laser
pickup
used
for
530CD
has
been
changed
from
type
SF-84.5(134-0-4009-04001)
to
SF-86(134-0-4009-
04100).
Because
adjustment
of
turutable
has
close
relation
to
the
type
of
pickup.
it
should
be
made
according
to
the
following
measurement:

circuit
shown
below
is
necessary
for
accurate
adjustment
of
the
focus
and
tracking
gain.
If
this
circuit
cannot
be
made,
make
adjustments
using
the
simplified
procedure.
